The tiny gap in the horizon line, center right,

is the Golden Gate with its famous bridge.

One can guess the two towers seen “a contre-jour”

but can only imagine the mile-long span between them.

Pity the camera can’t capture the infinite range of colors,

but one can see why the explorers called it

“The Golden Gate”.
