To all my friends that, at one time or another, prodded me with "You should write a book!" thank you, and this is as far as I can go right now.  Mostly, just the thought of sitting down to write, digitally or otherwise, gives me writer's block.  But sometimes, while chassing information and following a line of thought, things materialize by themselves and result in something I deem to be worth writing down.  I'll put those thoughts on separate pages and link to them further down, in the Stories section, thoughts about things Romania and not only, in no particular order of import or of alphabet.  I'm also planning a blog, soon to be linked here too, but meanwhile you can send your comments on the stories to USStanley@gmail.com and will publish, as appropriate, maybe edited, at the bottom of the story.

The Coat of Arms of today's Romania is here to remind us all that this is what we have.  Any improvement we want will need to be done starting from here.  Unfortunately, history can be repeated, but it can't be turned back.
